GENERAL TERMS OF SALE (GTS)
Of the Opale website.
1. Preamble
These General Terms of Sale (GTS) define the rights and obligations of the parties regarding cottage bookings made directly through the website l-opale.fr. Any direct booking implies the customer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these GTS.
2. Bookings
Les réservations de gîtes peuvent être effectuées directement via contact sur l-opale.fr ou via des plateformes de réservation tierces telles qu’Eviivo.
For bookings made via Eviivo, the applicable general terms of sale are those of Eviivo. It is the customer’s responsibility to review these terms before finalizing their booking.
Bookings made through third-party platforms in the Eviivo catalog (Booking, Airbnb, Trivago, Agoda, etc.) are subject to the GTS of each platform. The customer must refer to the terms and conditions of the booking site used.
Any direct booking becomes final upon written confirmation from us and receipt of payment in accordance with the established terms.
3. Rates and Payment
Rates are shown in euros, all taxes included (TTC). Payment can be made according to the payment methods of the different platforms (Credit Card, Mastercard, PayPal, etc.) and can also be made by bank transfer or cash. For bank transfer and cash payments, please contact us to arrange the invoicing details. If payment is not made within the specified deadlines, the booking may be canceled without notice and without the possibility of a claim.
4. Cancellation and Withdrawal
- For any booking made directly via l-opale.fr, the customer has a 30-day withdrawal period from the booking confirmation date, unless the stay begins before the end of this period.
- Any cancellation made less than 30 days before the arrival date will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking amount.
- In case of no-show, the full amount of the stay remains due and is non-refundable.
- For bookings made via Eviivo, the cancellation and refund policies are those of the Eviivo platform. We cannot intervene in any way regarding refunds or modifications handled by this provider.
5. Liability
L’OPALE cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to reasons beyond its control (force majeure, weather conditions, government restrictions, etc.).
The tenant agrees to use the premises peacefully and in accordance with their intended purpose. Any nuisance or disturbance to neighbors will result in immediate eviction without the possibility of a refund.
6. Cleanliness and Inventory
The cottage is provided clean and in good condition. An inventory check is carried out upon arrival and another upon the tenant’s departure.
The end-of-stay cleaning is included in the price, provided the cottage is returned in an acceptable level of cleanliness. Any damage or failure to comply with cleanliness guidelines will result in additional charges.
Any damage to or loss of equipment will be charged to the tenant.
7. Personal Data Protection
The information collected during booking is intended for reservation management and improving the customer experience. It is neither sold nor shared with third parties.
8. Dispute Resolution
In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts will be those within the jurisdiction of the company’s registered office.
9. Modification of the GTS
L’OPALE reserves the right to modify these GTS at any time. The new conditions will apply to bookings made after their publication on the website.
